144 MHz AFS 2020

Activity was up this year there were just over 9000 QSOs between 178 contest stations in 22 locator squares.   Well done to the portable stations who braved the elements and where necessary adjusted operations to meet Covid rules.

There was positive feedback to the reduced contest duration - down from 6 to 4 hours. Conditions were flat with very noticeable QSB a few mentioning enhanced conditions on the North/South path.

ODX was worked by Richard GD8EXI t o F6DKW at 782km.

The competition is split between local clubs and general (national) clubs.

In the general section Crawley ARC (G0VVE, G8DOH, M5SB and M5MC) are overall winners with Weekend CG 'A' (M0ICK/P, G1DFL/P, G0EAK/P and G1PPA) runners up.
